Choose 2 half day projects with the addition
of a starter copper wire bangle which adds working with metal and soldering.
Cost for 2 people max at my studio £75 pp plus c. £15 for materials

Silver ring
An easy introduction to soldering silver, you will use decorative techniques (hammered, punched and torch formed) demonstrated for you at the start of the session. No two rings are alike.
Cost: £25 per person, plus c. £5 for silver strip 0.8mm x 80mm x 0.7mm.
Time: 3 hours is suggested
Links bracelet
Following a sampler session using copper, make a selection of plain rings that will link to form a stylish bracelet. The silver can be textured in numerous ways and, if you bring some odd beads, they can be added to personalise your design.
Cost £25 per person, plus c. £12 for silver

Silver pendant
Following a demonstration of the decorative techniques and design potential, you work with a piece of silver sheet 40mm x 30mm x0.6mm to create your own unique pendant.
Cost: £25 per person, plus c. £10 for silver sheet. Any additional silver used will be charged per gram as used.
Time: 3 hours is suggested
Wire pendants with beads
Shaping silver wire to make pendants
without the need for soldering. 3 main
designs available ( can be personalised by
your own beads). Bring items of jewellery pushed to the back of a drawer and recycle them into a new and eyecatching piece

Twirly ring drop in
The Twirly Ring project works well as drop in sessions so is very suitable for public events
includes tuition and practice for making a unique ring in sterling silver. No previous experience necessary.

Twirly ring
An ideal starter project - the simple twist construction of this silver ring will be admired by all. Since devising this ring in 2009 (for a public drop in session at a shopping centre) over 100 have been made at various events. No two are alike.
Cost: £15 per person, materials extra as detailed below plus materials: c. £5
Time: 2 – 2 ½ hours
WORKSHOPS
Learning to make silver jewellery can be tackled at all levels. Age and disability do not stop creativity. There is "rapid result simple do it for fun" at one end or intensive years of study at the other end. By experiencing a short taster you can see where you would like to take things.
